At Urban Design & Consult, we are committed to making a positive difference for our clients, our team, and the environment. That is why we aim to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050 and take practical, measurable steps every day to reduce our impact.

We measured our baseline carbon footprint in 2023 - 2024, covering energy, travel, waste, and other key areas. Moving into our own office at The Steelworks, Salford has given us greater control over our operations and new opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and track progress more accurately.

Our 2024 - 2025 Carbon Reduction Plan builds on this foundation. It is about embedding sustainable practices into everything we do, from the way we work to how we engage with our people and partners. We are proud of the progress we are making and remain committed to continuous improvement on the journey to Net Zero.

Some of the practical steps we are taking include improving energy efficiency in our office, monitoring and reducing business travel, encouraging sustainable commuting options, reducing waste, and promoting awareness of sustainability across our team.
